Full-time, 37 hours per week

£42,899 – £46,654 + £2,520 pa car allowance

With extensive experience in a similar role, championing parking for the benefit of and in consultation with a local community, you’re knowledgeable about the challenges – and the opportunities – and ready to help us develop and implement innovative parking strategies, improvement schemes and new initiatives.

So as well as playing a lead role in shaping parking provision, you’ll also have the opportunity to influence the Transport Strategy for Basingstoke that we’re developing jointly with Hampshire County Council. The strategy will be key to developing sound transport policy and securing investment that achieves economic, social and environmental goals.

To begin with, you’ll oversee cost-effective, proactive and responsive parking enforcement and car park management services that are focused on driving growth, quality and income. The role also includes overseeing the traffic management and engineering design services delivered by the team. That includes providing inspirational leadership to the team, advising on planning and development proposals, and having a voice in major regeneration projects and multi-agency partnerships.

It’s a wide ranging, dynamic role that has potential to impact on many aspects of life across the Borough, so you’ll be a capable, confident and credible communicator with a demonstrable track record of leading a team to success, working with stakeholders in a collaborative way to deliver and excellent customer service skills.

JustPark are looking for a target driven sales professional with considerable transaction management / leasing / parking experience to join our field sales Business Development team. The successful candidate will be ideally be in Southampton or Portsmouth, working along the South coast of England.

JustPark’s Sales team members are defined by a willingness to pick up the phone, engage and meet new business contacts, coupled with an eagerness to muck-in, help and understand what it takes to drive a startup to the next level.

Examples of the great work their Sales team has done at JustPark?

  • Signing multi-site deals with large Client-side Real Estate operators, Property Companies and Landlords
  • Providing financial forecasts and presenting detailed proposals to stakeholders
  • Taking ownership of deals from client origination to signing
  • Managing and tracking the sales process using our CRM system (Pipedrive)
  • Iterating and optimising the sales process
  • Working with the product team to build new products and tools for clients

They would like you to have the following skills and experience:

  • Exceptional knowledge of key cities and towns
  • Experience within the parking sector and a proven track record acquiring car parks and signing deals with property companies, or a background in commercial property, would be advantageous
  • Self-starter, highly driven with a positive attitude
  • Strong Real Estate network, ideally both agency and Landlord contacts
  • Goal orientated, with the ability to work independently within a team environment
  • Interested in business, start-ups, Prop-Tech, technology
  • Comfortable qualifying leads, pitching the JustPark solution and closing deals
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to be personable yet persistent
  • Proven ability to balance competing priorities and manage several time-sensitive projects with minimal direction
  • Financially literate and proficient with MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
  • Comfortable pitching and presenting to client-side Asset Managers and Landlords
  • Competitive basic salary with an OTE of £60,000.
