Nigel was unopposed in his nomination for re-election as Chair of the Board. He was asked to answer questions and to share with the Council of Representatives his vision for the Association over the next three years. At the 18th July meeting of the Council he was formally endorsed as Chair of the BPA Board until 2020.

Nigel said, “My first three-year term as Chair passed very quickly. It was a very busy time for our association. In addition to carrying out our normal day to day activities we implemented new governance, appointed a new COO, restructured our head office staff and appointed a new CEO. We significantly improved our AOS and POPLA services and responded to the emergence of a commercial competitor. We also successfully launched new initiatives such as Lawline, Parking 20:20 and the Positive Parking Agenda.

I look forward to working with our President, Council members, our staff and our external Stakeholders to develop our existing initiatives, launch new ones and lead our profession to greater success.”

We look forward to working with Nigel for the next three years.
