Public Affairs and Research Coordinator

Full Time - Permanent


This diverse role has responsibility for the day-to-day co- ordination  and  delivery  of  a  range  of  public  affairs,  communications and  research projects which support the Association’s aims to improve the reputation of the BPA and to promote knowledge sharing and best practice across the parking sector; providing an accurate, efficient and integrated administration service for the public affairs team; ensuring a strong and consistent ‘customer orientated’ approach to the associated tasks; contributing to the continuous improvement of public affairs and research functions and providing administrative support for other BPA staff team members as appropriate.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading for a range of media including, but not limited to, trade and mainstream publications, corporate websites and promotional literature
  • A confident communicator
  • Experience and ability to use social media platforms for business including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Experience and ability to use website Content Management Systems or willingness to learn
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to create and maintain relationships with stakeholders and ability to grasp complex matters easily
  • Political awareness
  • Computer literacy
  • Willingness to travel. Please note this role may require occasional overnight stays
